I was invited to join the teaching faculty on this prestigious international shoulder arthroscopy symposium in Amsterdam which took place at the Stryker Laboratory which is an impressive cadaveric set up which has been arranged in such a way as to resemble an operating theatre for shoulder arthroscopy. There were 12 stations and the course is intended for experienced orthopaedic consultants.
As part of the faculty, my role was to assist consultants in developing their surgical arthroscopic techniques of the shoulder. I worked with two experienced consultants and helped them to further their experience. This was also a good experience for me to network with consultants and the faculty and all the talks were aimed at experienced surgeons.
